Baker's is a vibrant, fast paced, award winning coffee shop, bar and restaurant which thrives on atmosphere and experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team. We are looking for General Manager with the wow-factor. It is a fantastic time to come on board as we rebuild our business post Covid and look to expand further.
Candidates must have excellent presentation and be passionate about food, customer service and the delivery of an effective and efficient product. They must be focused on the customer experience from entry to leaving the restaurant and must have an outgoing and friendly personality.
We have a strong emphasis on using local suppliers and utilising the best ingredients available to us. Although we are predominantly a food led business, bar & cellar experience is essential. Cocktail experience is desirable. We are looking for someone who can work with the directors and our excellent kitchen team to help pave way for our next stage of development.
The average working hours will be 50 hours per week and will include weekends and Friday/Saturday evenings. The ideal candidate will be a

We are looking for someone who can work with the directors to ensure the service at Baker's is second to none. The ideal candidate will be a committed and professional individual with experience in hospitality. We are looking for someone hardworking, driven and passionate about what they do.
You will take responsibility for ensuring that the restaurant and bar areas are ready for service and maintained to our high standards. You will be expected to work in a team to ensure the customers’ needs are met at all times, keeping to our standards and greeting our guests with a smile and warm welcome every time like it’s the first time you have seen them. You will be required to learn about our company and services as well as having an in-depth knowledge of our food, therefore learning our menus is a must. In summary you must be passionate about hospitality and delivering amazing service to our guests with a smile and personality.
You will be responsible for
· Day to day running of the bar & restaurant,
· Assume responsibility of all front of house sections (bar, restaurant, cellar & office)
· Be part of the recruitment, training and development of junior members of the team
· Liaise with the directors and other members of the management team to develop the business as a whole.
· Uphold the high standards of hygiene required by the environmental health office.
· Be responsible for all front of house ordering and weekly rotas.
· Experience in a similar role in a similar environment is essential. Must have good management skills.
· Must be pro-active and committed with a good eye for detail.
